FlareProf – an automated thermal aerosol system for the protection of technical and industrial facilities
FlareProf is an automatic Type S thermal aerosol fire suppression system designed to protect technical, industrial, and commercial spaces where a compact, clean, and effective fire suppression solution is required. Unlike solutions designed for very specific applications, FlareProf is suitable for a wide range of uses: technical rooms, electrical cabinets, servers, telecommunications equipment, power systems, and critical machinery and equipment.
The product is designed for enclosed and semi-enclosed spaces and provides local protection without a piping system, without a pressurized container, and without the need for periodic maintenance. The extinguishing agent is rapidly released upon activation and floods the protected area, helping to extinguish the fire by chemically inhibiting the combustion reaction.
Automatic protection for various technical applications
FlareProf can be activated electrically, via a fire detection control panel, or thermally, when the temperature in the protected area reaches 175°C ± 15°C. Upon activation, the aerosol is rapidly discharged through nozzles into the protected area, making it suitable for applications where response time is critical.
With its compact design, simple installation, and range of models for protected volumes of up to 2 m³, FlareProf is a practical solution for protecting high-value equipment and technical areas where a conventional fire suppression system would be more difficult to install.
Why Choose FlareProf?
- Multiple applications – suitable for IT, telecommunications, energy, industry, machinery, technical rooms, and electrical equipment.
- Type S thermal aerosol – helps extinguish fires by inhibiting the combustion reaction.
- Unpressurized – stored at atmospheric pressure, without a pressurized container.
- No pipes —simplified installation, no complex infrastructure.
- Dual activation – 24 V DC electric start or thermal activation at 175°C ± 15°C.
- No periodic maintenance required —compact device with a service life of up to 10 years.
- Clean Agent – a non-toxic, non-corrosive solution with zero impact on the ozone layer.
- Flexible coverage – models for protected volumes ranging from 0.5 m³ to 2 m³.

Available Models
| Model | Agent Mass | Protected volume | Dimensions |
|---|---|---|---|
| FlareProf 0.05G | 79 g | 0.5 m³ | ⌀63.5 × 32 mm |
| FlareProf 0.1G | 100 g | 1.0 m³ | ⌀90 × 57 mm |
| FlareProf 0.15G | 150 g | 1.5 m³ | ⌀90 × 106 mm |
| FlareProf 0.2G | 200 g | 2.0 m³ | ⌀90 × 120 mm |
The model is selected based on the total net protected volume, at an extinguishing density of 100 g/m³. For irregular, ventilated, or high-risk spaces, the sizing and placement must be confirmed by qualified personnel prior to installation.

Easy installation in equipment and technical enclosures
FlareProf is sized according to the protected volume and is secured with M4-compatible screws. For thermal activation, the heat-sensitive cable is positioned in the risk area, away from live parts and high-temperature components.
It is recommended to maintain a minimum clearance of 50 mm in front of the nozzle, to avoid air intakes, and to install the device so that the nozzle is not directed toward the human body.
Important: Installation must be performed by professionally trained personnel. This product is not intended for use in explosive atmospheres, in the presence of strong oxidizing agents, or in the presence of reactive metals such as potassium and sodium.
The Difference from FlareRack
FlareProf is the right choice for general fire protection applications in technical and industrial spaces, such as IT, telecommunications, energy, electrical cabinets, machinery, and technical rooms. FlareRack is more suited for compact rack-mounted applications, battery cabinets, ESS systems, and areas with battery-related risks.
As a result, FlareProf is well-suited for projects that require an automated fire suppression solution for multiple types of equipment and enclosures, not just for applications involving batteries or racks.
